Martin Brodén serves as group legal counsel – trademarks at Sandvik, where he safeguards the company’s global brand and intellectual property interests. Based in Stockholm, he provides strategic trademark guidance to the Machining and Intelligent Manufacturing business areas, focusing on trademark protection and enforcement. He works closely with colleagues across the organization on brand protection and long term trademark strategy. Since joining Sandvik in 2017, Martin has secured and enforced global trademark rights, provided guidance on trademark risks including those related to M&As, supported anti-counterfeiting initiatives, and delivered trademark training. His earlier career spans roles as IP Advisor at CSC Digital Brand Services, Senior Legal Counsel at Inter IKEA, Legal Counsel at AstraZeneca, and positions within the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, ICC Sweden, and the National Board of Trade, building deep expertise in IP, litigation, and international trade.
