With over 30 years of experience, including as a partner at Murgitroyd / UDL Intellectual Property, Mark is qualified as both a Chartered Patent Attorney and a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney. Whilst working as outside counsel he was recognised as a ‘WTR 1000 Recommended Lawyer’ for brand creation and protection, specialising in the FMCG sector. Mark now serves as chief IP counsel for revolution beauty, a UK-based,15 year old, cosmetics company known for affordable, cruelty-free makeup and skincare, particularly targeting Gen Z. Revolution focuses on rapid, market-driven product innovation, often creating "dupes" for high-end beauty brands. It operates in over 75 markets, selling via major retailers like Boots and Superdrug, and online. Mark’s work at Revolution earned him the 2024 Luxury Law Lifetime Achievement Award. Beyond law, Mark is a qualified croquet coach and a long-suffering Tottenham Hotspur and Harlequins Rugby supporter.
