Debra Duguid is the senior manager of legal and business affairs at TAO Group Hospitality, where she oversees the company’s global trademark portfolio. Her responsibilities span the protection and management of well-known brands including TAO, MARQUEE, AVENUE, LAVO, CRANE CLUB, OMNIA, HAKKASAN, SAKE NO HANA, and JEWEL among others. Ms Duguid is recognized for her strategic approach to intellectual property and her commitment to advancing brand growth through thoughtful legal stewardship and proactive portfolio oversight. Under her leadership the TAO Group Hospitality legal team was shortlisted in 2024 at the WTR Industry Awards for Hospitality & Travel Team of the Year. Prior to joining TAO Group Hospitality, she held key trademark roles at Conair Corporation, Energizer Personal Care, Terex Corporation, and Scripps Networks, where she contributed to the development and safeguarding of globally recognized consumer brands.
