Sara Blotner is a director in Citigroup's IP Legal group, where she leads the company's global trademark team. Her practice encompasses the full spectrum - including trademark counseling, clearance, prosecution and conflicts, right of publicity, copyright, corporate transactions, licensing, and internet and social media - advising one of the world's leading global financial institutions on complex and evolving IP matters at the intersection of finance and emerging technology. Sara graduated cum laude from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and began her career with the trademark group of Fish & Neave before serving as in-house trademark counsel at NBA Properties. She has lectured on IP legal issues for several organizations, including the International Trademark Association and Practicing Law Institute.
